Kongs
Sahara is really getting the hang of food stuffed Kongs. So much so, I have started to freeze them to make the Kongs more difficult. I usually stuff his Kongs with most of his dinner mixed with a little canned pumpkin and cottage cheese.

Playing With Toys
Sahara loves playing with stuffy toys. He cannot resist chasing anything you throw. The nice thing is that he is not crazy intense about them. I have been comfortable with touching the toys in his mouth or taking them from him for another throw.

Pearly Whites
Sahara's teeth and gums are clean and healthy. We brush our greyhounds' teeth everyday so Sahara is getting the same treatment. He resisted the first couple of times, but after realizing the canine toothpaste tastes good he has become very easy to handle.

Hiking
Sahara has been on some trails, but today he learned what those big rear muscles are for... climbing! Today's hike was about 50 minutes, but the first 30 minutes was a huge hill climb. I am sure it is nothing like he has ever experienced. I think his thighs felt like jello, but he was a good sport and gave a maximum effort.
Sahara also travels very well in our SUV. He is very relaxed and falls asleep. In fact, the picture below is before the hike. After the hike, he was flat out.
All in all, Sahara is bold and eager to explore new places. He does not appear to be at all noise sensitive. He gets along very well with our other dogs and has done well meeting smaller dogs. We work full-time so he is crated for about 10 hours each day.
